Mr. Balaji Raghavan

Managing Director

Mr. Balaji Raghavan is a Commerce graduate who has completed his management studies from T.A.Pai Management Institute, Manipal. With over 25 years of distinguished experience across banking and real estate investment, he brings deep strategic and financial expertise to the Ironwood Group. He was a part of ICICI’s foray into retail financial service, joining the bank in 1999 and working across risk and sales functions. He led the mortgage finance business at ICICI Bank, where he played a pivotal role in growing the bank’s mortgage portfolio. He also served as Regional Business Head at ABN Amro Bank NV, further strengthening his expertise in financial services and housing finance.

He joined IIFL in 2010 where he headed the domestic Real Estate Fund Management businesses while also handling top investor and developer relationships across the country.
In 2021, after a successful professional journey in the banking and investment sector, he transitioned into entrepreneurship and launched a residential development venture with a focused commitment to delivering value-rich housing.

Mr. Vijayshankar Tripathi

Mr. Vijayshankar Tripathi is a Commerce graduate from University of Mumbai and a qualified Chartered Accountant. He has two decades of experience in the real estate sector, having been actively involved in the development and execution of several residential cum commercial projects across MMR region . He has been involved in project liaison and approvals, dealing with government agencies along with consultants for smooth execution of projects . He has developed strong expertise in finance, accounts, taxation, and real estate management, contributing strategically to the successful delivery of multiple projects.

Ms. Vedika Chaubey

Ms. Vedika Chaubey is a law graduate from University of Mumbai. She is an experienced Advocate with a diverse professional background spanning journalism and legal advisory services. She has contributed to several esteemed media organizations, including Mid-Day, BBC (Online & Radio), Navbharat Times, Mumbai Mirror, and The Hindu.

In addition to her journalistic accomplishments, Ms. Chaubey possesses extensive experience as an Advocate, providing legal assistance and advisory support, particularly in matters relating to women’s rights and welfare. She offers legal counselling, prepares and files legal documents and petitions, and liaises with governmental and law enforcement authorities to facilitate the resolution of grievances and safeguard women’s legal rights and entitlements.

Mr. Rakesh Bhatia

Mr. Rakesh Bhatia is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He has three decades of experience in the financial services industry during which he worked across diverse segments of the sector. He has provided strategic advisory and consultancy services to corporates, contributing to financial governance and business growth initiatives.

Mr. Sumit Somani

Mr. Sumit Somani is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has over 20 years of experience spanning portfolio management, private equity funds, NBFC operations, bullion, structured product investments, and business strategy. He was a founding team member at Milestone Capital Advisors and played a key role in conceptualizing and structuring various funds. He was also instrumental in establishing a joint venture with IL&FS Investment Managers, contributing to fund strategy and execution.

Mr. Sanjay Panicker

Mr. Sanjay Panicker holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from T. A. Pai Management Institute. With nearly 30 years of professional experience, he is a seasoned finance professional with deep expertise across Equity Research, Investment Banking, and Portfolio Management. His diverse roles have provided him with a comprehensive understanding of financial markets and the broader business ecosystem, enabling him to contribute meaningfully to strategic and investment decisions.

Mr. Rohit Lal

Mr. Rohit Lal holds a PGDM from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and a B.Tech degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He is an accomplished leader and entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in retail banking and the BFSI sector. His expertise includes training, process transformation, regulatory compliance, product specialization, operations, customer service, and strategic business growth. He has held leadership roles with reputed organizations such as Accenture, ICICI Bank, and Citibank. Currently, he operates training and consulting ventures focused on BFSI companies and skill certification for job aspirants, including an NSDC-approved skill development company established in 2022.

Mr. Nitish Nagori

Mr. Nitish Nagori is a Statistics graduate and has completed his post-graduation from the University of Mumbai. He brings over 27 years of rich experience in the Retail Assets business, having worked with leading banks and NBFCs, including HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, ABN Amro Bank NV, Citicorp Maruti Finance Limited (a joint venture of Citibank and Maruti Udyog Limited), and GE Capital. Over the course of his career, he has developed strong domain expertise in retail lending, asset management, and financial services operations.
